I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix " @5 A1 h* } Y) h 7 y; A" C* _& ?and I like the idea of yours that we communicate more here ' I.
